Through education, we offer a long term solution towards improving conditions in the developing world.
As a charity, Pestalozzi educates exceptional young people from the developing world who could not otherwise continue their studies after the age of 16. Our fully funded two year programme brings them together to our site in the UK, where academic education combined with international understanding empowers them to contribute to development in the countries that need it most.
Unable to afford an education, they would otherwise be destined to continue the cycle of poverty endured by their parents and the generations before them. We believe that to bring out the best in young people you must educate the whole person: the intellect, moral values and practical skills, referred to by us a the "head, heart and hands."
"By supporting Pestalozzi you are helping people who still lack quality healthcare, education and water, and who suffer daily the many injustices of today's world. Pestalozzi alumni use their talents to help those in need, actively seeking to make this world a fairer and more peaceful place." Thomas Mukonde, Pestalozzi Student 2005-2007
With your support, we will empower and enable more young people to break the chains of poverty which have held their countries back for so long.
