Pestalozzi International Village Trust is a charity, registered with the Charity Commission under number 1098422. It is also a company limited by guarantee (number 4797376), incorporated in England and Wales. It was constituted and incorporated on 12 June 2003 and on 1 September 2003, it took over all the assets, activities and liabilities of Pestalozzi Children’s Village Trust, which had been constituted under a Trust Deed dated 30 November 1957.

A Board of Trustees, which consists of no fewer than five persons, administers the Trust; this Board succeeded the Management Committee with the incorporation described above. The present Trustees are listed below; their association with Pestalozzi is detailed in the first part of each record:

BA (Exeter); PhD (Queen's Belfast); Hon DPsicol (UNED, Madrid); Fellow of British Psychological Society; Professor of Psychology, Cardiff University 1976–1998; Director General of International Baccalaureate Organization 1998–1999. Currently Honorary Professor of Psychology at Kent University; Vice-Chair of International Board of United World Colleges; Vice-Chair of Corporation of Hastings College of Arts and Technology; Trustee of St Michael's Hospice Hastings.
Penelope Hamilton (Vice Chair)
Trustee 2005 to present. Vice Chair 2008 - present. Music consultant; Chairman International Concert Committee (Dhahran) from 1996 to 2004. Extensive experience of living and working abroad, particularly in the Arab World (5 years in Abu Dhabi and 20 years in Saudi Arabia).

Tony Hope
Trustee 2006 to present. Group General Manager, Insurance within HSBC Holdings plc since 1995. Chairman of HSBC Insurance Holdings Limited (Retired). Lived in Hong Kong/China for 12 years and has travelled the world on business for over 20 years.
Richard Maidment
Trustee from 2004 to present. Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. 10 years service in the Royal Navy followed by 30 years in commercial property business in the UK and Germany with an international firm of Property Consultants. Work in the voluntary sector includes The Prince's Trust; Chair of Governors of Sedlescombe Primary School and Governor of 2 schools in the private sector.
Jane Pennock
Council Member 2003 to present; Trustee 2004 to present. Dip. Social Studies (Trinity College Dublin), Dip. MSW (Institute of Medical Social Workers), MSW at Westminster Hospital. Founder member of Cranehurst Counselling Group Cranbrook and Counsellor and Supervisor at St. Michael’s Hospice, Hastings.
Dr Patrick Roper
Council Member 2005 to present; Trustee 2006. Hon DBA (Oxford Brookes); Head of Publicity, English Tourist Board 1970-1987; Marketing Director, Alton Towers 1987-1990; Development Director, National Maritime Museum 1990-1994. Following a lifelong interest in wildlife and ecology, became a professional consultant ecologist in 1993 and remains active in this field in a variety of capacities in both the public and private sectors; Fellow of the Linnean Society; Fellow of the Royal Entomological Society; Member of the British Ecological Society.
