Dhaka is a kind of cloth-material that is very popular in Nepal. There are many different patterns for this colourful Nepali hat. The patterns are used to make, particularly, the popularly known 'Dhaka topi' and also a special kind of blouse - Dhaka-ko-cholo.
This kind of topi or cap is made in Palpa district and is a part of the Nepali National or Official dress worn by men.
