Pestalozzi Running Team completed the 31st Hastings Half-Marathon on Sunday 22nd March 2015.

On Sunday a combination of over 20 staff, students, volunteers and supporters ran the infamous Hastings Half Marathon for Pestalozzi. Every penny raised goes toward inspiring young people to make a difference in the world.

Priyansh Gupta, from India, was the fastest student to complete the course this year, in a fantastic time of 1.56.29! Whilst Estate Manager, Alex Whittington, had an equally impressive feat - managing to complete the race in under 3 hours - dressed as a giant ladybird!

The event itself kicked off at 10.30am on Sunday morning and attracted over 3,500 runners from across the country. With a reputation of being the most challenging Half Marathon in the UK, the Pestalozzi team did a fantastic job of all finishing before 1.30pm.

Other members of the Pestalozzi team manned the charity stall in Grosvenor Gardens, with banners and balloons a plenty, and were cheering and supporting the runners for the duration of the day.

Our sponsorship target for the Half Marathon this year is £4835.00 which would cover educational fees for one of our scholars for a year, so please help us reach this by clicking here donate.

No doubt the team will be back again for next year's race!
