Extra-Curricular Activities

Life at Pestalozzi is not all about academic study. Pestalozzi students get involved in a variety of extra-curricular activities while they are here. Examples include volunteering at a local care home, Spanish lessons, volunteering at local schools, taking swimming lessons and running the Hastings Half Marathon.

The students are also encouraged to use their initiative and many have established their own clubs, found their own volunteering activities, and led activities and events including:

  • the Alpha-Beta Maths Club at Sussex Coast College;
  • the Art Club, Running Club, Eco Club and Storytelling Club at Pestalozzi;
  • volunteering at Respond Academy and local events;
  • and awareness events and projects for Students for Free Tibet.
