Here at Pestalozzi we like to keep in touch with our former students after they leave the International Village here in Sedlescombe as they all go on to achieve successful lives.
Many of our former students tend to go on to University, where they receive fully-funded scholarships at Universities across the globe. To give you a flavour of what some of our former students go on to to do, we currently have Habiiba Malinga studying Economics & Political science at the University of California, Berkeley. Jyoti Pandey is now a social protection specialist at the World Bank Nepal country office. Plus, Tenzin Tsayang (pictured below during a visit to the village in 2017) is a consultant with 6+ years of experience working with Fortune 500 clients for projects involving Growth Strategy, ZBB/ZBS/ZBO, IoT, and Data Analytics. He received his MBA specializing in Strategy and Analytics from Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Richmond with double major Accounting and Political Science.
Another one of our former students, Christopher Mujjabi is at University in Costa Rica studying Agricultural sciences. Finally, Thandiwe Mweetwa is a senior ecologist with the Zambian Carnivore Programme.
This is just a snapshot of what our alumni go on to to do. We have many talented former students around the world that are helping in their native communities and making a difference.
This page will be updated with more alumni stories as we receive them.
