Below you can find out more about the team at Pestalozzi.

Lesley Russell-Dean
Chief Operations Officer
My experience has been varied and following a Master’s Degree (MBA) I have worked in Insurance, Construction, Managing a training division for CIPD qualifications in London, owning a hotel and even working at a Veterinary Surgery. This has all helped me with the wide remit of the Chief Operations Officer role, which I have the good fortune to hold since August 2017. This role holds the overall responsibility of the operations.

Margaret Alexander
Student Scholarship, Alumni Relations and Development Fund Manager
After a 10 year career in the Civil Service I decided to change career and work with young people. Before joining Pestalozzi in 2003, I worked with young people with special educational needs and emotional and behavioural difficulties. I have a BSc in Health and Social Care and a PG Certificate in Conflict and Development. I joined Pestalozzi after a year overseas and it offered me a perfect opportunity for the world to come to me and to continue my work with young people who are keen to make a difference in the world.

Jo Mozley
Finance & Administration Officer
I started my working life in travel but changed career in 2001 when I moved into Accounting. I qualified as a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in 2005 and have previously worked in a manufacturing environment in both Hastings and Bexhill before joining Pestalozzi in late 2017. I enjoy travelling and cycling and have completed long distance charity cycle challenges and have also been the local Girl Guide and Brownie Leader in Sedlescombe for the last 10 years. I enjoy volunteering, fundraising for charities and meeting new people from far and wide so when the vacancy arose to join Pestalozzi as the Finance Officer it was too good an opportunity to miss.

Hannah Banham
Marketing Officer
I've been working in marketing for the last 7 years, and have found the last 3 years at Pestalozzi very rewarding. After working in Brighton for a digital marketing agency for three years whilst living in St Leonard's, I wanted to find work closer to home. I'd heard about Pestalozzi and even visited when I was in primary school, so getting to know the students first hand and working for such an inspiring cause makes it a pleasure to come into work. I'm responsible for all of Pestalozzi's marketing including managing the website, social media and producing print materials such as the newsletter. The role is so varied and no day is the same.

Martin Colvin
Individual Fundraiser
My work experience has been varied starting as a film editor, I moved on to marketing, fundraising and organising events and concerts. I then moved to Wales where I ran a Pub, Restaurant and Hotel. After returning to Kent I qualified as a teacher with a BA (Hons) degree. I taught in various schools specialising in Emotional & Behaviour Disorders, working my way up to becoming a Head of School. I then had the opportunity to return to events and fundraising where I am now helping to improve the education of young people from around the world.

Nancy Anderson
Student Programme Assistant
I work here as part of the Student Programme Team, coordinating student activities, providing support with their studies and mentoring across both year groups. Prior to this, I've worked and volunteered for several non-profit organisations, gaining experience in a number of roles across the charity sector. The curiosity, compassion and enthusiasm of the students is infectious and I feel very grateful that I get to work so closely them every day.
